End of year film dump

Gee that year flew by. I don’t think I’ve posted here for nearly two years. No idea how that happened. I guess instagram got the better of me. That platform is bad news. I find it really dulls my creativity and just fries me with saturation, which was not it’s intended purpose at all. So I decided to sign out of it and give it a rest, focus on the things around me and get back to analog shooting, now that I can explore more with Ozzy being a bit older.

Here is a test roll from my Olympus XA2. I bought this camera in 2012 so it’s been around quite a while. I think they were originally release in the 1980s and were a pretty tight camera for the era. With a mid-end price point for a point and shoot, Carl Zeiss lens and some basic options. They are pretty fun to use, although they can be super temperamental. This is my second Xa2, having bought one earlier in 2010. It was so nice to shoot on, but ultimately died. Cooked shutter, leaked batteries which calcified and corroded the battery terminal.

Anyway, enough about that. Here’s a lil film dump of a test roll in said camera. New addition to the family Adelaide Molly Armstrong, to kick it off. More to come soon. Film development by Bayou film on Ilford Delta 100 film, no edits.
